About Practical Trail Notes

Practical Trail Notes is an independent English-language publication about choosing and organising camping and travel accessories. We help readers explain the job an accessory must do before spending money on it.

Who publishes this blog

Dae Jin Lee is the owner and publisher, based in South Korea. The Blogger profile uses the display name Solon (솔온). Our intended audience includes readers in the United States and Europe; a reader's destination, local product version and retailer conditions still need individual checking.

What you will find here

Our articles cover packing, small camping accessories, travel organisation and equipment care. They combine attributed manufacturer information with original buying criteria, comparison tables and practical planning exercises. The companion site Practical Trail contains a wider guide library and planning tools.

Experience and limits

These are research-based guides. Unless a specific article documents otherwise, we have not bought or hands-on tested the products discussed. We do not claim specialist outdoor qualifications, laboratory testing, or access to confidential retailer sales data. Published specifications and our own editorial suggestions are identified separately.

How this publication is funded

Some articles contain paid Amazon links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. We are preparing this blog for Google AdSense; account connection or an application is not proof that ads have been approved. A paid relationship does not establish that an item suits every reader.
